About Muddy Boot
The Muddy Boot Festival, a “Soulful Celebration of Sustainable Living,” is a three-day grassroots festival in Portland, Oregon. Muddy Boot is in its sixth year thanks to the enduring support of local businesses and community members. The festival features vendors and exhibitors, workshops and panel discussions, live music, kid-friendly activities, and local food and wine. Nearly 5,000 people attend annually.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to promote sustainable living practices within our local communities, thereby enhancing the health of our world, our neighborhoods and ourselves.
Vision Statement
To carry out our mission, we envision a community event on St Philip Neri grounds which will nourish mind, body and soul in celebration of sustainable living. This event will include:
- Vendors of local and organic food and craft
- Workshops and educational forums on living sustainably for the whole family
- Live music and entertainment
- Open minded space for reflection, sharing and growth as a community
- Space to explore the spirituality of caring for the earth
By participating, all organizations and individuals involved will agree to respect the diversity of ways in which we can promote sustainable living, and at the same time challenging one another on our paths toward our common goals.
This event will be financially responsible. We seek to make this event accessible to all who wish to participate, and also to aid St Philip Neri Parish's mission and programs.
